The world is evolving with methods of expression transforming to the digital. With Algorithmic Art, students explore how to design geometric and generative art through algorithms digitally, to then transfer into the physical world utilising robotics.

Curriculum Focus:

  • Art
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Digital Technologies
  • Personal and Social Capabilities
  • Critical and Creative Thinking

Technology Utilised:

  • Robotics
  • Digital photography,
  • Generative coding

Student Outcomes:

  • Explore the intersection of Maths and Coding to create expressions of Art.
  • Program robots to transfer digital art into the physical world through Pen plotting, driving or light painting.
  • Understand how Digital Art is evolving, and what skills are required for the future.
