Emergency Bots

Enquire Now
With a focus on coding, mechanical systems, and engineering design, students tackle a range of emergency missions using high-tech ground and air robots (drones). Students are introduced to coding using block code and/or text-based programming with both land and air-based robots.

Through a series of challenges that centre around mining and emergency response situations, students will be encouraged to use creative thinking and collaboration to produce solutions that fulfil a user brief. Students will use robot sensor inputs and explore how robots make decisions. They will also explore the potential benefits and drawbacks of mechanical outputs and movements. By the end of this fast-paced introduction to coding, students will have experienced the advantages of using Design Thinking and working collaboratively while rapid prototyping.
