VCE Media Experiments

Students participating in this program will explore and develop skills using media equipment, technologies, and processes relevant to a selected media form and product. They will document, record, and evaluate their skill development throughout the process.

In the half-day program, students will follow the production workflow by experimenting with video, photography, audio, and hybrid media forms. They will also be introduced to safety protocols essential for working on productions, both individually and in teams. The full-day program will extend this learning by focusing on editing the media products created earlier in the day. The documentation generated during the program can contribute to their pre-production folio, supporting Unit 3, Outcome 2 of their media studies.
